How to Use the Calendar for Upcoming Gigs

To keep track of your upcoming gigs, you can use the Notion's calendar feature. Simply click on the 'New' button on the calendar to add a new gig. In the entry, include the name of the gig, the date and time, and any other important details such as the venue. You can also add reminders to help you prepare for the gig.

Setting Up Pages in Notion

Creating a new page in Notion is easy. Just click on the '+' button on the left sidebar and select 'Page' from the dropdown menu. You can then name your page and start adding content. To organize your pages, you can create sub-pages by clicking on the 'Turn into' option in the menu of a page and selecting 'Page'. This would turn the page into a parent page and you can add sub-pages under it.

Other Useful Tips

• Linking Database Entries: Notion allows you to link database entries, which can be useful for referencing past gigs while planning for new ones. To do this, simply @mention the name of the database entry in your text.
• Using Templates: If you find yourself creating the same type of pages or databases frequently, consider creating a template. This way, you can simply use the template each time you need to create a similar page or database.
• Keyboard Shortcuts: Notion supports many keyboard shortcuts which can help you navigate and use the application more efficiently. You can view a list of these shortcuts by clicking on 'Settings & Members' in the left sidebar and selecting 'Keyboard Shortcuts'.

This section is a template designed to be used after each gig. It can be integrated (copy & pasted) with the dates on your calendar to measure feedback, rate the performance, and document details about the gig for future reference and improvement.
